irectTrainer.com is immediately seeking a Mid-Level .NET Developer to fill paid contract opportunity, for developing web based business applications.

We are looking for a Developer that will work closely with the product development and sales team to understand business requirements and design quality applications and technical solutions.

Candidate should demonstrate knowledge of object oriented concepts and practices, design patterns, and industry best practices. Candidate must have experience in .NET application development using Visual Studio as well as skills in database development including coding of stored procedures. Candidate will regularly participate in the full systems life cycle with solution design, development, implementation, and production support.

Job Requirements and Responsibilities

Candidate should be self-driven and possess a mid-level degree of proficiency in the following areas:

• .NET development (ASP.NET, C#, VB.NET)

• Database technologies (SQL Server, Oracle)

• Microsoft .NET framework

• Object oriented design and implementation

• Web services

• Experience providing graphical design mock ups

• Windows desktop and server operating systems

• XML

• Must at minimum have working knowledge of Visual Studio 2003/2008 and .NET 3.0/3.5

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Programming, Mathematics,

Lastly candidate should have experience in system analysis, design, coding and unit testing. Analyze and transform business requirements into technical design specifications captured in document form. Maintain Source code repository. Spec out and assist in deployment of development environments, including website(s) and database(s). Proactively provide ideas and solutions towards the improvement of the site and the business.
